The Angry and Noble Queen:
The current proliferation of the harassment of women and what to do about it.
∞ The weapon of choice in the 'art of war' to save the Divine Feminine ∞
The year is 2018. The earth and her creatures are in an unprecedented struggle to stay alive and well. We have hit the tipping point and women are finally speaking out, en masse, against lifetimes of oppression and sexual violation. The Feminine has sprung from the depths of thousands of years of suppression. She has awakened... and she is pissed!
And why wouldn’t she be after only 5,000 years of oppression?
But, while the Feminine is pissed, the Divine Feminine is calling us to embody the energies of the Noble Queen.
Monday, I did a journey to connect with my spirit guide. She told me to rest in my Queen. Anything less will not win the 'war' she said, and she is right! Only by being in the energy of our beauty and nobility that inspires, will the effort of the feminine to be honored be won.
Tuesday morning, I meditated on this message. Synchronicities wove into my day and I realized I needed to share this message about anger, ecstasy and winning the war on the feminine.
Let me begin by saying that I have a Taoist view of the feminine in that it includes all with feminine essence: the earth, her elements, her creatures, women, children and the essence of feminine energy.
When I speak of the return of the Divine Feminine, I mean honoring and allowing the earth to be while personally anchoring in the higher frequencies of feminine energy inside our selves and radiating out to the world a blessing.
This is the feminine movement we are experiencing -- a defining moment in herstory. Yet, we must be mindful of how we define this movement as it sets the stage for success or failure. We will do well to heed the advice of history and to learn from the man movements that have gone before.
Over the last hundred years, women have been able to safely share their voice and right now, the feminine is angry, she is pissed and she has every right to be!
As just as women's anger is, we must ask ourselves: Will violent fits of anger win the respect we seek?
Probably not. We will need to find another way.
Before I talk about another way to get “justice,” let’s take a little trip down memory lane to better understand why women (and men) may be so angry.
The current proliferation of harassment against women has deep roots in the human psyche, due to thousands of years of religious and social programming.
It did not help the feminine that the Christian/Catholic Church fathers were misogynists, and deeply colored humanity by their hatred of women, the earth and her creatures.
The apostle Paul blasted women right in the official scripture of the New Testament. In 1 Corinthians 34-35, King James Version, he says,
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church."
Tertullian, a church father who lived from 155 to 245 AD, addressed women directly, saying:
“You are the devil’s gateway: you are the unsealer of that (forbidden) tree: you are the first deserter of the divine law.”
And the beloved St. Augustine, 354-430 AD, stated the Church’s view on women’s sexuality as something even her husband has to be afraid of:
“What is the difference whether it is in a wife or a mother, it is still Eve the temptress that we must beware of in any woman.”
Following this vilification of women, humanity plunged into the Dark Ages.
The witch trials of Europe and America were born out of the fear of women. Our innate love of nature, as well as our sexual and mystic power struck desire and terror into many men... and they did what any insane person would do.. they took revenge.
During this dark period of herstory, women were hunted in their own villages for “sins” such as using herbs and midwifing babies then they were tortured, raped and killed, all in the name of “God.”
Even in Roman society, where priestess culture did exist, a priestess of Vesta would be locked in a room and starved to death as punishment for sexual activity.
This hatred and vilification of women darkly colored Western society and religious thought for the last two thousand and in some places, five thousand years.
Finally, women get a break:
In 1920, only 98 years ago, women were awarded the right to vote in America only after much protest.
In 1970’s, only 48 years ago, the Feminist Movement rammed through more walls, earning women the right to have careers and have children.
In 2017, the Weinstein sexual harassment reveal inspired women en mass to speak out against sexual harassment and the #metoo movement was born. For the first time in recorded herstory, women are been taking names and dethroning tyrants.
Today, it's 2018 and women are free to speak out against the demonization of our sexuality, our subjugation in society, and the injustice of forced rape and sexual harassment.
Real consequences are occurring for transgressions against our bodies.
While this is an important step in our evolution to beat the pillow, shout and scream, and say No more! we must ask if shouting and screaming will win us the respect we are looking for?
I can hear Martin Luther Kin Jr's distinctive voice and wise words guiding us:
"Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."
While it is clear why women are angry and it is clear we have every right to be angry, we must take a deeper look and ask if protesting, screaming and shouting is going to get us treated as sacred.
Has hatred ever extinguished hatred?
Every man woman, child, animal and Earth has sacred inalienable rights:
The Right to be left alone
The Right to be left intact
The Right to be sexually innocent
The Right to safety -- to not be taken, raped, used and abused
The Right to be beautiful.
In stark contrast, I look about about and think: What has humanity come to?
Will we be known as the Trash People from what we leave behind?
Or the Rape People for the rape of the earth, human trafficking, and sexual harassment?
In this climate, dear sisters, you and I must wake up to our power and responsibility. It is up to us to anchor in the Divine feminine here on earth.
For if we do not embody the Divine feminine, who will?
Therefore, we must not let anger interfere with taking up beauty, nobility and innocence.
Monday night I met with my guide. She said
that I needed to stay in my Queen.
She said despite all the things that are making me angry
and the injustices in my life and others,
that in order for there to be
peace on earth,
noble men and women,
reverent honoring of innocence,
that I and women of earth must EMBODY the Noble Queen.
She was right, because first thing Tuesday morning, I got very upset because of the home loan process we are going through and set of a number of 'f' bombs.. not at all seated in the Queenly energy my guide has just spoke to me of. But after earning five black belts, I have learned to just pick myself up and continue on...
In the bigger picture, it makes perfect sense that women are the best choice to embody Divine Feminine energy and GO TIME is now!
Our task is to EMBODY love.
Our charge is to EMBODY the feminine.
Our challenge is to EMBODY Divinity.
And by embodying, we anchor in the sacred here on earth.
Anything else — anger, fear, jealousy, rage, malice, resentment, fighting — will age us, steal our light and burn out the feminine energetic system.
The feminine runs on cool, yin energy. This means time, baths, tea, nourishment, dreaming, caring, gardening, playing, sensuality, and juiciness.
Let us not burn our systems out as we make our stand for the sacred.
May we let go of our angry faces, our pursed lips and embody the succulent Queen, and our true Nobility. May we speak our boundaries with conviction in our bones and strength in our heart, that they my be deeply witnessed and authentically received.
May we honor our noble man and the noble virtues in our man and let us suffer mildly those who will to harm the sacred and try our patience. In this way we preserve our power and our light.
So if you are feeling angry at the rape of the feminine and you are making a stand, may you remember to take a bath, lay down your swords, nourish yourself with beauty, walk in nature, forgive yourself, oil your body, and settle into your power.
In order for the Divine Feminine to return, we are the ones to anchor her.
I'll leave you with this: My Taoist grandmaster taught that the highest sword cuts "two into one."
What do you mean? You cannot cut two into one.
He explained that the highest form of martial art is removing separation and bringing two things that are in dischord into unity; oneness. Cutting two into one, he called it and gave some of us a titanium bracelet with a sharp edge to symbolize one sword, making one circle symbolizing this ancient art of war.
Be the radiant Queen who inspires, my loves!
